Bears 50 defeated Kangaroos 14

Bears: Bears put together a great game against an under-strength Kangaroos side. The teamwork shown by the boys under the guidance of Ben Wilkinson was great. Too hard to pick out any one player as all the boys put in a great effort. Congratulations to Jake Browne for scoring his first ever try in football. The Eagle Boys or McDonald’s award was awarded to Ben Wilkinson.

Kangaroos: The Roos were outclassed by a white-hot Bears outfit. The were few signs of a contest in a one-sided affair. The Roos were bashed from pillar to post for most of the game apart from the 10 minutes after half-time when the Roos proved to themselves they could put points on with equal possession. I said last week this team will be there when the whips are cracking, I just didn’t think I’d have to produce it this week at training. The Eagle Boys or McDonald’s award was awarded to Daniel Jeffries.
